| The Homeowner's Connection is a free service offered to the Homeowner. There is never a fee to utilize our service or consult with one of our members, no matter how many times you call The Homeowner's Connection. | |
| How do you screen your contractors? | |
| The Homeowner's Connection has a very thorough screening process. We verify license(s), proper insurance coverage, BBB status (if applicable), check for consumer complaints and require three references for previous work in their specified trade. | |
| Are the contractors employed by The Homeowner's Connection? | |
| The Homeowner's Connection is a referral service, not a general contractor and we do not employ any other independent contractors or represent independent contractors exclusively | |
| Is there a limit to the job size that The Homeowner's Connection will assist me with in referring me a contractor? | |
| No job is too small or too big. We have contractors that will perform the smallest task of changing a light bulb to adding a new room to expand your living quarters. | |
| How do I determine what contractor to chose? | |
| Choosing the contractor is solely up to the Homeowner. The Homeowner's Connection will provide up to three (3) referrals for each project you submit and it is based on your comfort level as to which contractor you chose for your project. The Homeowner's Connection will not promote one contractor over another for any reason. | |

| Is there a cost associated with membership with The Homeowner's Connection? | |
| There is a one time only application processing fee and Annual Dues. Annual Dues are due upon acceptance as a Contractor member of The Homeowner's Connection. | |
| How does The Homeowner's Connection make money? | |
| Our motto is, "We don't make money until you make money." The Homeowner's Connection charges a minimal commission fee for each project awarded to the Contractor member. Fees are due at the completion of each project | |
| Is there a limit to the number of referrals? | |
| There is no limit to the number of referrals through The Homeowner's Connection. The Homeowner's Connection limits the number of contractors in each specific trade to ensure fairness in the amount of referrals to Contractor members. | |
| Is The Homeowner's Connection involved in the bidding process? | |
| No associate of The Homeowner's Connection is involved in the bidding process or discussion of cost of any project with the homeowner. | |
